About the Hall

In this section you can find out everything you need to know about the Village Hall including the how many it can accommodate, facilities on offer, Committee members, and how to find it

Our Hall is located in the charming and unspoilt village of Wickhambreaux Canterbury Kent. Situated in an idyllic rural conservation area Wickhambreaux is just 5 miles from the cathedral City of Canterbury. The Village Hall is a valuable commodity for the small but thriving community and is the life blood of village events.


The Village Hall Exterior

The Hall has many uses; one of the main is providing Wickhambreaux primary school with a venue for their breakfast and after school clubs as well as a dinner hall.  School assemblies and plays are also carried out here and as such the School has exclusive use in term time, Monday to Friday from 8.00am to 5.00pm. 

Regular weekly events in the hall include ballroom dancing on Wednesday and Friday evenings.  To find out more about scheduled events check out our What's on Section

Auction to raise money for St Andrews Church

At other times the Hall can be hired and is used to host numerous ad hoc events ranging from auctions to jazz evenings, wine and wisdom dinners and private parties. The Hall is also used to host social and fund raising events for St Andrews Church.

Hiring our Hall can be a very cost effective way to host your special occasion especially when compared to more commercial alternatives.
